Gamesa Induction will supply a horizontal synchronous generator rated at 8,000 kVA for the Tuyuk hydropower plant, located in the Yssyk-Ata valley, Chuy region.
The project, developed on the Tuyuk River, consists of a run-of-river hydropower plant with an estimated installed capacity of 7–10 MW, aimed at strengthening the country’s renewable energy generation and enhancing the stability of the regional power system.
The scope of supply includes the design and manufacturing of the horizontal synchronous generator, specifically adapted to the hydraulic conditions of the site and optimized to ensure high efficiency, operational reliability, and long service life.
With this new contract, we reinforce our presence in Central Asia and our commitment to the development of sustainable energy infrastructure, contributing to Kyrgyzstan’s energy transition.
