We are pleased to announce that Gamesa Induction has been awarded the contract to supply a new bow thruster motor for an upgrade project on the NOAA research vessel Oscar Dyson. The motor is currently under manufacture.
Designed to meet stringent low-radiated-noise standards, the Oscar Dyson operates 24/7 in some of the most demanding marine environments on the planet. Through its advanced capabilities, the vessel plays a vital role in conducting critical scientific missions, monitoring marine ecosystems, and gathering high-quality data for the sustainable management of marine resources.
